Currently serving as BATV Board President, Alan is the Batavia City Council representative on the Board since 2005.  He is an involved volunteer with the production of both Football and Basketball broadcasts, going into his 10th season of broadcast commentary.  He is also proud to have been involved with many technology upgrades over his time on the board-including PTZ camera installation at City hall, wiring of both Bulldog football stadium and BHS gym for live broadcasts, working with staff and BPS 101 for the newly revamped studio and control room, the HD upgrades/web casting opportunities and re-branding BATV. Looking to the future he plans to work with the BATV Board and Staff to provide high quality programming and access & information to the public thru ALL of BATV’s media outlets. Dave Lundborg, Treasurer of the Board of Directors. At Large Member.

A resident of Batavia since 1990 and a Tri-Cities native, Mr. Lundborg has been a volunteer at BATV since 2006, serving as the play-by-play voice of Bulldog sports for over 200 contests.  Dave has a project management background in the telecom industry.  Dave feels that BATV is an important communications tool that helps keep Batavians informed and up to date on news and events that affect them.  Despite considerable growth, Batavia has been able to maintain its small town feel and he feels BATV plays a key role in this.

Cara Schuster, Library District Representative.

My interest in BATV is to ensure that it thrives in order to uphold the duty of providing Batavia residents with the local information they need. In our technological world we are capable of receiving information from around the globe, but local information can be the information that has the most impact on our lives.  My position on the BATV board is dedicated for a Batavia Public Library board member; which is another role I fill in the community. I am very pleased to offer my services for both of these institutes.  I have lived in Batavia since 1993, when I began working at Batavia Public Schools. I am proud to call Batavia my home and feel very fortunate that my children have had the opportunity to grow up in this great town.
